PIA flight PK 758 from London to Lahore while enroute was diverted to Moscow as a female passenger Shahnaz Akhtar, age 58 Italian national suddenly developed cardiac problem. PIA cabin crew provided first aid to the passenger and also got help from three doctors on board who later on advised for an immediate hospitalization of patient. PIA Captain Khalid Anwar acting swiftly diverted to the nearest airport, Moscow. The passenger was immediately shifted to a hospital. The condition of Shahnaz Akhtar got stable at the hospital and her family members in Lahore were informed accordingly by PIA.

PK 758 later took off from Moscow after a stopover of two hours for its final destination to Lahore. CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik and Chief of Flight Operations PIA Captain Uzair appreciated the efforts of extra care by flight and cabin crew and Captain Khalid.
